クリーンな開発Docker環境でバックアップリストア失敗：FATAL: Peer authentication failed for user “postgres”

開発用にDockerでDiscourseをインストールするための初心者ガイドのコメントで、この問題が指摘されており、これはバグとして報告すべきだと考えています。もし私が間違っていたら訂正してください。

本番環境のコピーを作成して、主要な設定変更をテストする傾向があり、以前にもこのようなクリーンな状態から何度も作成したことがあります。しかし、今回はピア認証の失敗に関するエラーでバックアップが失敗します。

（おそらく間違っている）私の手順のコンテキストを提供するために

  1. ローカルのDiscourseディレクトリを完全に削除する
  2. コンテナを停止して削除する
  3. Discourseをクリーンな状態でgit cloneし、その後すぐにpluginsディレクトリにプラグインを直接git cloneする
  4. boot_dev --initのコマンドを実行し、必要に応じてbundle install、必要に応じてデータベースマイグレーションを行う。
  5. ダミーの管理者アカウントでログインし、ライブサイトからダウンロードしたバックアップをアップロードする
  6. バックアップの復元を実行する

さらに情報を提供できることがあればお知らせください。バックアップログは以下にあります。ああ、あと、data/postgres/ の pg_hba.conf で、すべての認証方法が「trust」に設定されていることを確認しました。

d/rake autospec は 14 件の失敗を生成しました。そのうち最初の 6 件は PEER 認証の問題に関連しているようです。

何が原因か分かりませんが、調査可能な人がいるときのためにここに投稿しておきます。エラーは毎回異なる Postgres バージョンで同じように見えます。

同じ問題を抱えていました。
最終的に、回避策として以下を挿入しました。

   if Rails.env.development?
      username = "discourse"
      password = "discourse"
      config["host"] = "localhost"
      config["port"] = 5432
      config["database"] = "discourse_development"

/lib/backup_restore.rb の

  DatabaseConfiguration.new(

の前に。

また、ユーザー discourse のパスワードを以下で設定する必要がありました。

d/psql -c "ALTER USER discourse WITH PASSWORD 'discourse';"

これを達成するためのより良い方法があるかもしれません。

本番サイトに影響しないため、優先度の低いバグです。また、現在チームの誰も開発にDocker環境を使用しているとは思えません。トピックを再分類し、pr-welcome タグを付けました。

これは私には機能します。

しかし、他にもいくつかの修正方法があります。

  • Dockerブートイメージに環境設定 USER=discourse を追加する

  • d\\exec に -e USER=discourse \\ を追加する

  • backup_restore.rb に以下を追加する

      if Rails.env.development?
    username = ENV["USER"] || "discourse"
  end

さらに、Docker開発環境で d/discourse を実行すると、新しい問題が発生します。

PRは理想的ではありません。discourseユーザーを強制的に追加するのは正しくありません。明示的に定義されている場合にのみユーザーを追加したいです。

この環境変数は、定義されている場合にオプションで処理しても構いません。

開発コンテナアプローチを使用する場合、「remoteEnv」セクションに「USER」：「discourse」を追加するだけで、DBをエクスポートできるようになります。
