Blank space after logout button

There is a blank spacing after logout.

I can repro this in Chrome, right here on meta. I’ve noticed this behavior:

1. When you first open the menu, while the notifications load, there is no blank space.
2. After the notifications have loaded, the blank space is there.
3. After closing and re-opening the menu (when the notifications are already loaded), there is no blank space.

So it appears this blank space is only generated when the notifications are inserted while the menu is open.
