After updating to Discourse version 3.6.0.beta1-dev, dubwoc noticed that calendar events no longer display borders or colors in the calendar view. This issue is related to an update to FullCalendar 6, as mentioned by ondrej and referenced in the announcements topic. dubwoc clarified that while borders appear in the week view, colors are still missing in both week and month views. j.jaffeux acknowledged the issue and promised to look into it within the next two weeks. A fix was later provided by j.jaffeux via a GitHub commit.
Upgraded today to the latest version: 3.6.0.beta1-dev ( 65eb5745cc )
I wish I had a before picture but the current picture still illustrates the point. I no longer have colors or borders around my events in the calendar:
The feature is still in the plugin settings so I presume it is still supported? I don’t see anything of interest in the console log.

For now we have no plan to bring this sorry.

The week view actually displays the borders but it still does not display the colors.
Here is the week view that was similar to before but colors still aren’t functioning, previously each event was different colors on this calendar and the week view was the same as the month view. Now everything is orange and I only get the blocks in the week view.
The feature I am referring to is in the plugin settings:

Some of the changes are expected per the above announcement but I’d still expect colors to work in both views..
