When you use the Calendar function to insert a date, like this: 2020-01-06T23:30:00Z , it shows up in emails like this: “2020-01-06T23:30:00Z UTC”.

I wish I’d known that before I sent out a meeting announcement!

Which emails are you referring to?

Emails have to use UTC because it’s not like we can run fancy JavaScript to determine the user’s current date and time in email…

この場合は、おっしゃる通り、会議の案内メールです。

これらの要素がメール（Discourseの投稿の通知を受け取る主要な手段）で正しく表示されない場合、日付を挿入するオプション自体を廃止すべきかもしれません。
