Is it possible for me to find out what triggered this notification?
Just like the reply notification[1] it doesn’t appear in my unread notifications at /u/moin/notifications?filter=unread.
I know I’m going to look ridiculous cause clearly I’m lost on the question but… it seems the link that small-lovely-cat referenced is what triggered it? The top notification.

notifications have been spotty the last few days 
yesterday, a flag got responded to and the DM got deleted before i could read it, so a green bubble was stuck on my avatar for about 6 hours before it went away. i was going to reproduce it on my site but never got around to it 
(admin A responds to a flag from user A, admin B is logged in, admin A deletes user A outright along with the DM, admin B may or may not have a green bubble trapped for a bit)
update: still there?? i’m not sure what this is from..
But the question is
So, my initial reaction is: click it and see? But guessing that’s not what we’re after here.
I’m trying to test if maybe the your-link-got-shared notifications never shows up in the notifications tab…?
maybe i misunderstood the original scope of the topic then (i also happen to be low on energy) so i’ll just take my issues elsewhere if i can reproduce them myself 
Why do you think so? Is it because of the slight blue caused by the mouse over?
Unread notifications are darker blue and the link icon is blue in that case.
This is not the case here
Where do I click? I clicked on the icon and see what I shared above. I also checked the list of my unread notifications and there are only the bookmark reminders.
I guess I could use dismiss to get rid of it. But then we still don’t know what caused it and how to fix that.
the “other notifications” blocks icon notifications stick around sometimes i find. i am almost certain it is related to the badges.
