I have the following problem:
snippet as proof.
I merged 2 topics into each other as part of a huge clean up. The reply I’m trying to mark as “solution” invokes the response above.
I can mark other replies in the topic as solution, including other comments from the reply owner. Just not this one.
In what direction should I look?

so when you get that unhelpful popup message that says FAILED, are there any specific errors in the browser console?

My guess is since it’s a merged reply (and quite recently), I have to wait the 7 day window (stuff get’s auto deleted here after a merge, after that window).

No, a time window shouldn’t affect this. That error is also just the browser reporting what the server says, not anything specific.
Do you see anything in /logs?
Where are those located?

Just visit <yoursite.com>/logs and scroll to the bottom. look for red or yellow icons and send the stack trace here in a codeblock
Hm we as moderators do not seem to have access to that page, I will pick this up later when I’ve chartered an admin
