Hello,
I have an odd issue. I have a category with 15 subcategories. This allows us to enable permission for each subcategory in line with our course schedule by adding the current cohort user group to the category at the appropriate time. This has worked for 2 iterations of our course so far without issue.
Just today, I am encountering an issue where I cannot add a group to the permissions of ONE of the submodules, but can to any of the other 14.
To start, the user group is added to the parent category with SEE/REPLY permissions. We do not host any topics in the parent category. Then, I add the user groups to the subcategory by going to the subcategory page, clicking the wrench Icon, going to security, adding the group, and enabling SEE/REPLY/CREATE permissions. The next step would usually be “Save Category”, but this remains greyed out and unclickable (See image below).
When I repeat this exact process for any of the other sub-categories I am able to add the group and save category with no issue. Just this one is not allowing any changes.
In fact, it will not let me make ANY edits to the category settings now that I am exploring this more. And this is only for this single subcategory. All other subcategories function normally and allow changes.
I have attempted this through both the primary admin account and my personal account, which also has admin status.
Any ideas? Using Horizon theme if that makes a difference.
