Can’t auto close keyboard when submit search button on mobile device
Though I do see the keyboard automatically closing in the forum you used as an example, I am not sure that this has ever been the default behavior
Looking at a few other forums
they all have the same behavior as meta. The keyboard will stay open even when the search input is empty.
