As the title suggest, when I assign new API key with granular scope, the categories is not part of the permission list. Got 403 even when I check all the granular scope permissions. I had to use Global scope which I don’t prefer to use for security reason. Any workaround for this?
Note: I use the paid hosting.
We can add a scope for this. What specific calls are you after for the /categories.json route? Just GET?

Would love to see it, but I guess with your answer there’s no workaround right now via configuration or something else. Thanks for the reply.
There is now an API scope for GET requests on /categories.json and /c/:id/show.json
