That did it. Thank you for the help! I think Discourse navigation is fine as-is but for now I have to implement this small feature for these users and hopefully I can remove it at some point in the future. It’s more of a stop gap fix for the moment.

Is it just me, or does this component not recognize name changes in slugs?
I doesn’t seem to recognize category slugs with changed names in my case, not right away anyway.

I use the dark mode component as well.
So that makes it a bit difficult to use this for the main categories. Because the icon shows up next to the main category. I now use “categoryColor”, which is red. That works for both the dark and light mode on my forum. But then the icon is not visible in the category selection menu. Because it has the same color as it. So there is just a blank space. Is there a way to fix this? Use an alternative color for the category dropdown menu? Because when “categoryColor” is used, the icon is not visible anymore. Would be great to have a white color for the icon there.

Ah, well, #cfcfcf works fine in both dark and light mode. Other option is also to use emojis of course

Inoltre, funziona ovunque tranne dove le sottocategorie sono visualizzate come caselle sopra un elenco di categorie. Funziona bene come righe sopra un elenco di categorie.
Per qualche motivo categoryTitleLink non viene applicato alle caselle.
Hai qualche idea sul perché questo accada? Sospetto che possa essere un (piccolo) problema nel core.

Questo è stato risolto dal meraviglioso team di Discourse. Per qualche motivo, è necessario rimuovere e reinstallare questo Componente Tema affinché funzioni:

In realtà, mi piacerebbe se questo mi permettesse anche di inserire emoji invece di semplici icone FontAwesome. È attualmente possibile?
L’esempio è che voglio avere una categoria di benvenuto e penso che l’emoji

Il team di Discourse mi ha dato una piccola soluzione temporanea che può essere aggiunta al CSS del tema:

Sto riscontrando un problema in cui lo slug della categoria non sembra rispettare i trattini nei nomi esatti.
Ad esempio, se ho gli slug delle categorie:
beta-testing
beta-testing-bugs
beta-testing-features
Quindi aggiungo le seguenti voci del componente del tema:
beta-testing,trash-alt,categoryColour
beta-testing-bugs,trash-alt,categoryColour
beta-testing-features,trash-alt,categoryColour
Solo la prima categoria assume l’icona “trash-alt” e le altre non visualizzano alcuna icona.
Se rimuovo i trattini sembra funzionare
categorie:
beta-testing
betatestingbugs
betatestingfeatures
voci del componente del tema
beta-testing,trash-alt,categoryColour
betatestingbugs,trash-alt,categoryColour

Questa è una soluzione alternativa, ma rompe un po’ la convenzione di denominazione per gli slug. Sto facendo qualcosa di sbagliato o è un bug?
