On April 3rd, 2024, Segredin was born from a conversation among friends and a desire to create something authentic. Looking back today, we celebrate not just 2 years of being online, but the construction of a safe harbor in the midst of internet chaos.
Our journey has led us through moments of maturing ideas and consolidating our culture. Reaching our second year in such an uncertain yet rewarding scenario has been a great experience.
I’ve learned and tried to contribute as much as possible to what I consider the best CMS of the last decade. I’ve held the fort here as long as possible; we all want our beloved projects to last forever, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that “forever” always ends yet that doesn’t make the journey any less fun. I love my community and I’m deeply grateful for everything I’ve learned through open source.
I’m still a bit shy when it comes to component coding and direct GitHub contributions, but I’m taking my first steps. For now, I’ve built a web radio and a GIF component, and while I haven’t had the time to turn them into something more complex yet, I know they are the foundation for learning more:

i actually just joined your forum but it’s all a mix of some English and mostly Portuguese - it won’t let me select a default interface language and there is no translation services enabled. i guess you have this admin setting disabled? forum looks cool tho!
Yes unfortunally the translating is stopped but I’ll complate soon
About language interface preference when is logged is possible set own lang but I am define at own header so some parts are in portuguese and others as topics and posts are translated but no whole content yet.
