I think there are two scenarios and they need different messages:

  1. latest tab is empty (I think @justin suggestion of “You’re all caught up! Ready to [start a new conversation]?” is a good one here.

  2. New category is empty (or site is brand new, etc). This one needs more of an exhortation to create some topics so people have something to talk about, and real actual topic examples of what the category is for (other than the category description)

How would scenario 1 happen:

out of scenario 2 cases ? (EDIT: Oh, maybe by selecting TAGS !?)

There also is the “show tracked or watched topics” talked about above, but is “you’re all caught up…” the right message for this case ? (scenario 3 ?)

¿Alguien sabe, hay un Plugin o Componente Temático o configuración para esto (¿todavía? :pray: )?

Alternativamente, ¿se puede editar de alguna manera a través de js.topics.none.latest o en el config/locales/client.en.yml

Simplemente visita /admin/customize/site_texts y busca “that’s sad”. Puedes cambiarlo a lo que quieras.

EDITAR: Aunque parece que “that’s sad” ha sido cambiado en el núcleo. Parece que ahora solo es esto:

      bottom:
        latest: "No hay más temas recientes."
        posted: "No hay más temas publicados."
        read: "No hay más temas leídos."
        new: "No hay más temas nuevos."
        unread: "No hay más temas no leídos."
        unseen: "No hay más temas no vistos."
        category: "No hay más temas de %{category}."
        tag: "No hay más temas de %{tag}."
        top: "No hay más temas destacados."
        bookmarks: "No hay más temas marcados."

También puedes cambiar el mensaje para que se ajuste a la categoría con la pseudoclase “after” :

.topic-list-bottom::after {
	content: 'No event for the moment';
}

.category-next-events .topic-list-bottom .footer-message {
	display: none;
}

Puedes añadir una pseudoclase de idioma si tienes un sitio multilingüe.
