Is anyone else experiencing the same, am I missing something?
Some browsers have restrictions about playing audio that didn’t start from a user interaction. Others only allow if you have played audio in the same domain before.
We have looked into some workarounds, but nothing was clean enough. So in order to make it more reliable we worked on making desktop notifications use the push notification protocol, which allow users to use the notification sounds from the OS.
