Klikbare componenten in plaats van alleen de Bewerken-knop

I see myself clicking the component’s name or container again and again to access its content.

I think making the title of the component and even its container (but at least the title) clickable would be a good feature, besides the Edit button

I don’t know how that works when it comes to the container, because of the Learn More links, but if both can work together, great. If not, then at least the title is enough.

If the Learn more are added automatically by Discourse, not the component’s creator, then this could be done by adding another column just for the learn more, making the container clickable.

So the columns would be
Title | Learn more | Themes | Active Status | Edit | More

That way the container for Title could be clickable and the components that have Learn more would have that in their own column.

I have similar thoughts as you but for the list of installed plugins.

Somehow the highlighting of the row gives me the impression the thing is clickable. Back then when plugin settings was undergoing a revamp, I did raise this internally

getting to a plugin settings by mouse is…

1. Click on Plugins → Settings
2. Click on the blue Plugin Name (oops)
3. Realise it’s wrong and slide my mouse all the way to the right to get to Settings

I wonder if it’s possible to do away with the button on the right, and make the Blue Plugin Name go into settings (add a cog beside if needed), since “Learn more” leads to the same link. This also prevents the need to have to drag the mouse all the way to the right.

The result was that the title is now not clickable but the Settings button is still there (the equivalent of Edit in your screenshot).

Personally I’d like the whole container to go into edit as well, but we’ll see how so this is a +1 from me.

That’s indeed a “trigger”.

Having the title colored as in your original image, would also be a good addition, if the title and/or the container becomes clickable.

This would work for both plugins and components, of course.

Eens over het feit dat de markering deze indruk wekt @awesomerobot, ik vraag me af of de simpele aanpassing hier is om de markering te verwijderen, omdat dit een lichte bron van verwarring wegneemt.

Er is een lastige consistentievraag, we hebben op nogal wat plekken klikbare rijen, maar ik denk dat we zijn afgestapt van klikbare rijen omdat het nesten van As een grote no-no is.

Yeah the highlight on rows throughout admin doesn’t make a lot of sense, too many situations where we’d have to nest links and can’t make the entire row a clickable element anyway… removing is the best option…

Maar zou het niet logisch zijn om de titel op zijn minst “blauw” (of welke accentkleur de website ook gebruikt) te maken en klikbaar te maken, aangezien dit iets is wat mensen van nature doen? Hoewel de Bewerken (of Instellingen in Plugins) er is, is het klikken op titels, gebruikersnamen, enz. deel van de interactie van elke website, dus ik zie hoe dit ook logisch zou zijn in de Plugins en Componenten.
