Although on my testing forum, running the same version and same browser I cant reproduce.

My guess would be a theme/component. Are all your themes behaving that way? Are there any errors in the web console? Did you make CSS changes recently?

He is using his own theme so that is most likely the problem.

I dont think themes or components can mess with uploading images like that.
I tried it with the default theme and it still behaved off
You can also try safe mode to help debug.

Safe mode did fix the issue, I will look around. Thanls
