Configure number of different reactions visible below a posting

Ahoj,

when multiple different types of reactions are given below a post, only three different types are shown even when more different types are given.

I am part of an organisation which uses reactions to convey meaningful expressions of opinion, and not showing all types of reaction given can make readers unaware of types of opinion given.

One sees only all types of reactions given when clicking on the number besides the reactions.

The administrator(s) of our instance say that there is no configuration option where the behaviour can be changed – so I hereby feature-wish for an option which allows setting the number of different reactions displayed below a posting, including an option “all”.

Screenshot of the status quo – the “”-reaction is not shown in the reaction summary below the posting, only when someone clicks on the details, and there is even no indication that there was a fourth type of reaction given:

i don’t know how much appetite the Discourse Team has for this kind of cosmetic change, given the space constraints in the glimmer post menu. but i think this can be achieved with a plugin - if you have a budget and really want this, you can post in Marketplace and i can likely build it with an admin setting allowing you to specify a reaction count.
