Olle11 is considering hosting a cookie banner locally as a potential solution to resolve the issue, which is necessary for GDPR compliance.

Hi everybody, I chose Cookieyes as a cookie banner on my forum since I thought that the cookie banner looked reasonable and GDPR aligned.

However it seems that it is heavily effecting my site due to several seconds of LCP.

I have been in contact with cookieyes, I have tried preloading, async, deter and so forth with little to no success.

The last resort I think might be to try to preload the actual image in question in order to make the site load faster. I am not sure how solid that solution is however and I wonder if anyone else had problems with cookieyes LCP and how they solved it?

I am trying to find a solution since GDPR and cookie banners is required for my website. Maybe hosting a cookie banner locally would fix the problem.
