Can we create a ghost category? Essentially, we’d like to add a group to an empty category (so that they can be automatically added to a respective channel), and remove the category visibility while still being “in” the category. Having it visible would just add confusion since it would be empty.

Hi @mc.elias - depending on your use-case, I think you should be able to use the default categories muted admin site setting and / or the Category Hider Theme Component to do this.
