Defer parsing of Javascript

Hi. The meta.discourse site has a good scoring on PageSpeed Insight and other similar tools. However, it gives warning about slow initial javascript rendering and suggests to defer Javascript parsing to reduce blocking of page rendering. I was wondering if this is something that can be done?

TL;DR it’s being looked at, but it’ll take time there is no quick fix.
