Hi there. Is there any way to determine why system would have blocked a new user to our forums?
The same user was also sent an automatic message stating the following:
Hello,
This is an automated message from LibreHealth Forums to let you know that your account has been temporarily placed on hold as a precautionary measure.
Please do continue to browse, but you won’t be able to reply or create topics until a staff member2 reviews your most recent posts. We apologize for the inconvenience.
For additional guidance, refer to our community guidelines .
… but there’s no guidance as to why this user would have been flagged. Any ideas?

Except we’re not running Akismet on this system (yet).
Other than that, new users who paste in content or otherwise “type” extremely fast are quite suspect to the system.
That is a #1 spammer activity.

That would make sense given the nature of the flagged post, and I’ll venture to guess that was the cause. Thanks!
PS: It would be nice if this would be logged somehow

Didn’t @neil fix this recently? So auto-blocks have a log entry at least.

I believe so. I think this can be closed
I handled all the things mentioned in this topic.
log lock/unlock trust level
log activate/deactivate user
context added for deleted post because author deleted
stop displaying email addresses of deleted users. The screened emails list will show the emails of spammers/bad people.
stop displaying email address for revoked email (can be found on user record as usual)
Yes the context will include something like “blocked by staff” and “too many flags”, from the reason for the block.
