I’ve noticed a lot of missing animations for some time now. Namely the composer and button background. Seems to be an issue on Default but I’m using the Meta branded theme normally, was this intentional?
Update: based on the CSS this seems to be some mistake with a component

Thanks for the report. These animations were added into a reader-mode component that is installed here on meta.
I have removed the transitions for now in an update. It will take affect soon.
The update is live. Can you report back on if the animations are working properly?
I’m not on my PC currently so I can’t accurately test, I see it snap on my phone but I’m not sure if that’s normal behavior
Composer is fixed but the buttons still don’t have an animation but that seems to be intended, thanks for fixing
