I ask because I changed the template and created a throwaway account. But the new account did not get the changed Greetings! message. Do I have to rebuild the app or something for that to take?
Also where is the %{new_user_tips} text?
No, that’s not the right template. It’s similar, but that’s the welcome email that goes out to users when they sign up.
For the tutorial text you want to go to admin > customize > text and then search for discourse_narrative_bot.new_user_narrative.hello.message
