Hi there!
I found out that ours got disabled but none of the admin disabled it so I’m wondering how that happened. If it happened automatically because of an update, are there reasons why it’s being disabled? Is there a better replacement or is there a deprecation?
Here’s a screenshot to the setting that I’m I’m referring to:

We want to temporarily disable user tips and the Discobot welcome PM
on all sit… es by default until we have time to improve their functionality, because
right now they create a lot of noise for new members and admins without
providing obvious benefits.
Existing sites which have customized any of these localization strings will have
`disable_discourse_narrative_bot_welcome_post` kept as `false`:
* system_messages.welcome_user.subject_template OR
* system_messages.welcome_user.text_body_template OR
* discourse_narrative_bot.new_user_narrative.hello.message

Maybe you want to support my feature request to log changes like this in the staff action logs
I know there are site setting changes by system in the staff action logs. For example, at the end of July, the system enabled rich editor on my forum, and in April, the allowed iframes were changed.
But when I tried to find out why the welcome message from Discobot no longer worked, it was very difficult. I checked for changes of settings in the staff action logs, but there was no change. That’s why I assumed the problem was not related to a site setting. If those hadn’t changed and it had work…
