I’m agree with the last replies, but automatic categorization could be a good feature to experiment.
Perhaps an option to enable/disable the feature should fit the different needs for different people that Sam pointed out.
The UI/UX for choosing the categories is hard for non-technical users. Nobody wants to scroll through dropdowns and/or use mouse + keyboard, but just type and post their messages.
