Welcome to Discourse
!
Just read up a bit. One con ATM I can see with Discuz is last release was 2022? That seems like a long time.
That being said you would want to compare the 2 and see which one best suits your needs and potential future wants
Here is a page comparisoning some forum software

I love the look of your forum and Discuz overall!
Just as a very general feedback, I’d imagine that if you mainly operate in China and you don’t need multi-language support, you will have an easier time using Discuz.
With respect to being outdated, I see you’re using X3.5 and their new platform is X5. All the information is in Chinese, but it seems that’s a full framework rebuild?
Depending on what you want to do, an important difference between Discuz and Discourse could be in licensing. Discourse is open-source licensed with GPL-2.0. I’d be curious to understand the licensing model behind Discuz better. It seems it’s only source-available? I couldn’t locate a stated license text, but translated there’s this section on both https://gitee.com/Discuz/DiscuzX (X3.5) and DiscuzX: Discuz! - Gitee (X5):

@Heliosurge it’s a very popular and vibrant project, it’s just that the english resources you’ll find at first are very limited. The official sites are:
Thank you for your reply. You’ve understood things in great detail, but I’d like to add a few points:
- Regarding the versions: X3.5 is currently the stable version suitable for live sites. X5.0 is the latest version, but it was just released this month and is currently intended for developers to adapt templates and plugins — it’s not yet suitable for production use.
- Discuz is open-source, but only for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial use requires purchasing a license.
- The Discuz! X5 website you mentioned at the end is not the open-source version — it’s the official SaaS version provided by the company, and it’s paid.
- The code for the open-source version of Discuz can be found here: https://gitee.com/Discuz/DiscuzX
