Is it possible to make the Discourse RSS polling plugin just post a link to new content in the RSS feed, using a onebox? I have RSS feeds which format pretty badly on Discourse, and it would be much nicer to just show them as linkposts.
Late answer for anyone landing here: this is exactly what the RSS Polling Onebox plugin does. Imports in the categories you pick become a bare link to the article, which Discourse oneboxes, and “Show Full Post” goes away. It also covers feeds whose article pages have no description, by pulling the summary from the feed.
