How to change the tag slug in Discourse?

This is my first time setting up a forum using Discourse, and I want to change the slug for tags. The current tag structure looks like this (using the ‘banned’ tag as an example):

https://communitytest.akarinliu.com/tag/3-tag/3

I don’t know how to change the tag’s slug structure, so I’m asking for help here…

I think it’s because the tag name is not in English. Similarly, the url of this topic is https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-slug/397713, because I believe Discourse strips out non-English words, as your title is 怎么在 Discourse 更改标签的 slug?.

You can edit the slug on the tag’s edit page:

You can get there by using the wrench icon on the topic list filtered for that tag

I can’t find it, could you provide the access URL? I am using the latest version of Discourse, and some features might be failing.

@Discourse Did you accidentally remove this feature?

Hey there!

Tag slugs is brand new, gated behind experimental_tag_settings_page. If you turn it on you should be able to set it.

No, I am currently replying to you on my phone. I am currently outside. When I get home, I will give you the error message from the browser console.

It’s ready to use!
