Does it clear if you reload (F5) the page?
What about clearing the cache and cookies of the site? Or logging out and back in?
Suppose the answer to one of the questions in the last 2 posts is “Yes”. Does it mean, in your opinion, that it is not a bug?
This sorely tempts me to go on an extended rant about “modern” and “asynschronous” website architecture, because Discourse certainly is far from the only site to do things this way. But I’ll resist. This time.
It’s not that it isn’t a bug, more than it’s an impossible-to-solve-properly issue. Our most talented people have looked at this type of issues many times over, and there is just so much complexity going on that it’s very hard to get right.
No need to go on any rant ![]()
