Discourse to Discord Webhook

This PHP script acts an intermediary between Discourse and Discord, receiving webhooks from Discourse and parsing them into an optimal format before relaying them to Discord.

Installation

Just clone it!

git clone https://github.com/critcola/discourse-to-discord-webhook.git

This has been tested with and is supported on PHP 7.1, but should work fine on older versions of PHP.

Configuration

Copy config-template.php to config.php and populate all non-optional variables after configuring webhooks in both Discourse and Discord.

I am getting this error when sending a ping or a new post is created. Any help with what is happening here?

I tried both a public and private channel; same response.

Wo befindet sich die „config.php"?

Ja, also… bei mir auch? Ich betreibe einen diskursierten Discourse, und die app.yml-Datei enthält viele Zeilen zum Einholen von Git-Repositories, die vom Launcher gebaut werden. Also füge ich

zur app.yml-Datei hinzu und baue neu auf. Jetzt ist mir jedoch unklar, wie ich die config-template.php-Datei bearbeiten und diese Änderungen in config.php speichern soll, wenn alles durch den Launcher-Build-Prozess automatisiert ist.

Warum werden diese Einstellungen nicht Teil einer Schnittstelle unter dem Admin-Bereich statt einer PHP-Datei-Bearbeitung? Falls das unpraktisch ist, wie könnte jemand wie ich die config.php-Datei ändern? Muss ich in die Docker-Container-Umgebung eintreten und die config.php-Datei dort manuell erstellen? Übersteht das Updates und Docker-Neubauten?
