Does a backup transfer accounts?

Hello,
We want to do a backup. We don’t use them very often or at all. Obviously it transfers content but does it tranfer users accounts or will they have to make new accounts on a second site?

Backups created with this button

found here

your.site.com/admin/backups

will contain posts, topics, and users and all other database tables. So, if you restore a backup created that way, your users won’t need to create new accounts.
