The site setting Allow users to hide profile still says that this will “Allow users to hide their profile and presence.” Is that still true? I have the impression that the presence toggle is visible regardless of whether the setting is enabled or disabled.
Hmm yes, that seems to be the case… I also notice that with this disabled
it only applies to topics, not chat, and we can still see presence there

If Allow users to hide profile is unchecked,
and Default hide presence is unchecked,
Users will not be able to Hide my public profile, but will still retain the toggle for Online/Offline.
However, even if the user toggles to offline, they’re still present. Wouldn’t that be “misleading”?
