Download already posted images

I am aware that if I have the option set for download remote images to local it will download inline images to the newly created posts.

I want to retrospectively go back and grab a series of images from the past few years.

Upon searching references are made to download_remote_images_max_days_old but I cannot find this attribute.

Can anyone advise a method?

See what happens if you rebake on of those old images (click the wrench and rebuild html).

If that does it, then you can just rebake all of the old images. There are topics about how to rebake lots of images.
