E-Mail Preview Summary Error

User Arnold reported an error when trying to send a Test Summary, receiving the message “wrong number of arguments (given 10, expected 1)”. This error also appeared in mail Sidekiq related logs.

Arnold provided their summary settings and a list of installed plugins, including Custom Wizard, Fingerprint, and Encrypt.

zogstrip initially couldn’t reproduce the issue, but after further investigation, was able to replicate the error and identified the cause. A fix is available in the Discourse Encrypt pull request #322. Arnold thanked zogstrip for resolving the issue, noting that no logs were generated even with email logs activated.

Test Mail is working fine, but when trying to send Test Summary this error appears:

An error occurred: wrong number of arguments (given 10, expected 1)

I can’t reproduce. Are you running the latest version? Have you installed any plugins?

Thank you so much. I couldn’t help with logs anyway, since nothing got logged (even with writing E-Mails logs to /logs activated)
