Email submission wiped the message body

Hi,

I have been using Discourse with mailing list mode for some years. I replied this morning via email and Discourse wiped out the content. You can see the message here: https://forum.chatons.org/t/comment-discuter-avec-un-utilisateur-a-propos-de-son-mot-de-passe-court-simple-etc/3227/20

It looks to me like Discourse threw away the rest of the message because it thought it was only the message to which this was a reply.

Knowing that some of the text is edited will be very hard to discern.

Next time you want to include such text, perhaps remove the header or make it different somehow.

Does feel a bit like the support category, we generally designed the reply via email feature for top posting.

In you are going for an interleaved reply try:

I would recommend avoiding signing as well cause we will not strip that and it can cause noise on the web interface.

If so, maybe you should add a mention in the footer email to advise to user to reply via top posting. Actually I use discourse for years using email and down posting and this buggy behaviors was new for me.
