Hello, as per the title, is there a possibility in this script to activate (or promote users) with a “limited” moderator function, as is present in many other forums?
Specifically, these moderators should only be able to perform some moderation functions (to assist full moderators), such as editing posts to correct errors or delete obscenities and the like, temporarily blocking a badly behaving user, reporting a post directly to a specific moderator, in short, “low-level” actions, but WITHOUT the permissions to ban users, delete posts, change the level of other users, i.e., the “heavier” management operations, which should be limited to full moderators.
Users with trust level 4 can perform some actions like moderators. They can kind of moderate content, but not users. They can edit posts, split topics, close them, etc.
But they cannot act on flags or silence a user.

Apart from category moderators and trust level 4 that grant some permissions, many permission settings in Discourse are group based, so you can also, for example, add a trusted group to the Edit all post groups site setting so some users can help edit posts.
