I recently thought of something interesting and wanted to know if this could be a possible feature upcoming or an idea for users to be build upon.
Idea:
Posts made on a fandom are Auto-posted to a specific category in a specified community
Explanation:
To be more specific, If i am an owner of a fandom wiki and I know I post frequently there updates to a website I help work on and also have a forum for it then I can make a category Fandom Posts. Then in the forums settings we can have a setting called fandom_auto_post_category.
In this setting area Administrators can
- Enter a fandom URL where the forum will
pullposts from - Select a category where the posts will be posted in
- Select an account post’s will be posted from
- Select any tags to be auto-applied
Posts in the selected category will also contain a link to the fandom’s post as well as in the bottom it would say Posted on the fandom by Fandom_post_creator_username which looks for the username of the post’s creator and uses that in the Posted on the Fandom by area.
