This is the first time we’ve seen such report so maybe it’s an issue with a theme or a plugin on this instance?
When there’s a client-side / javascript error, the first thing to do should be to try Using Safe Mode to troubleshoot issues with themes and plugins.
Thanks for letting us know! since we host this site we also responded to a separate report of this issue from admins. We tracked it down to a theme component with an event listener that needs to be modernized. That customization has been disabled in the meantime so things should be back to normal.
