This badge is confusing as to the layman the standard 
is as much as a reaction as something like 
I’m not sure what to suggest, though…

But then there’s also the ‘First Like’ badge. But perhaps the badge description can be updated to give some examples of reactions, considering new users may not be familar with the names.

Yes, now that it’s all integrated the typical user won’t know that isn’t a “reaction”.

Moved this to Contribute > UX as I agree we should update our copy.
You can already do so yourself: any admin can customize the badge description via Admin → Badges → First Reaction → Edit and update the long description to something like:
“This badge is granted the first time you use the emoji reactions picker (hover over the
, etc.) to react to a post. This is different from a standard Like — it lets you express a more specific emotion!”
