The discussion revolves around the “Geometric” theme, a dark theme for Discourse created by meghna. The theme features a sunset gradient in the header, a background with geometric patterns, and minimal colors in the topic container.
meghna shared screenshots of the theme in action and provided links to the theme’s preview, Github repository, and an installation guide.
Users provided feedback, with ondrej noticing a mobile issue that meghna quickly fixed. meghna also updated the theme to allow custom background images.
Other users praised the theme, with some comparing it to the “Radiant” theme. meghna clarified that while Geometric was inspired by Radiant, it has its own additions.
However, some users reported issues with the theme, including display problems FunnySmile, centering issues and inconsistent design elements darkpixlz. Additionally, jo-andre inquired about customizing the theme’s colors, but received no response.
This dark theme uses sunset gradient in header and a background with various geometric patterns. The topic container has minimal colors to highlight the content.
