Several users are experiencing a 400 Error when using Google Translate in their forum. The error message indicates an “Invalid Value”. Senthil initially reported the issue, and fidelio shared a similar experience with no changes to their settings. However, fidelio later discovered that the issue was caused by a mismatch between the default locale (English US) and the user’s locale (English UK).
Despite this solution, kinetiksoft reported that the issue persists in their case, with the default locale already set to English (US) and the user’s locale set to English (UK). A potential fix has been identified in a pull request for the discourse-translator plugin, which may resolve the issue once implemented.

Getting this Error Code 400 with new posts and existing posts.
How do I fix this?
I get the same error, none of my settings have changed. I have just updated the install too.

I found the problem. The default locale was set to English US but the user settings were set to UK.

We ran into the same problem now, but the @fidelio comment and your reply doesn’t help solving it.
Forum has English (US) locale by default. User with English (UK) locale gets translation button for all english posts and clicking on it triggers the error described in the first post.
Any way you guys got it solved for you?
