Fortsetzung der Diskussion von Breaking change for people on stable versions (v3.2.1 and down) with discourse_docker:

Ich habe versucht, von 3.2.1 auf 3.2.2 zu aktualisieren und bin auf Folgendes gestoßen - ich habe versucht, auf 3.2.1 zurückzukehren, aber ich erhalte immer noch den hier genannten Fehler, wenn ich ./launcher rebuild app ausführe.

Was muss ich tun, um meine Instanz wieder zum Laufen zu bringen? Ich bevorzuge Version 3.2.2 (ich spiegele die Version, die wir in einer selbst unterstützten, nicht-dockerisierten Instanz zu Testzwecken haben), aber ich wäre froh, alternativ wieder auf 3.2.1 zurückzukehren.

In dem referenzierten Thread gibt es einen Hinweis, dass die Breaking Change rückgängig gemacht wurde ^[1], aber ich kann nicht herausfinden, wie ich meine Instanz reparieren kann.

Nur um das klarzustellen, die Problemversion ist eine Dockerisierte Installation. Ich bitte nicht um Hilfe bei einer selbst unterstützten Installation.

Nur zur Wiederholung: Sie befanden sich auf einer Standard stable-Version von 3.2.1 und haben /launcher rebuild app ausgeführt, um auf 3.2.2 zu aktualisieren, sind aber auf einen Rebuild-Fehler gestoßen (speziell den im verlinkten #bug-Thema).\n\nKönnten Sie bitte Ihre Protokolle hier einfügen, nur zur Bestätigung?\n\nKönnen Sie Ihre ‘Pre-Rebuild’-Site mit /launcher start app wieder hochfahren?

Correct. I then tried reverting to 3.2.1 by just changing the version: value from v3.2.2 back to v3.2.1 in the yml file.

Here’s the full output from when I try to rebuild (this happens on either 3.2.1 or 3.2.2 - in this case, it’s 3.2.2 that I’m trying to rebuild):

If I run ./launcher start app, that gets the old v3.2.1 container running again. I hadn’t thought to do that to get it running again (since it’s a non-production instance, not a huge issue to not have it running).

I would like to get it to 3.2.2, though, but not sure how to proceed.

Wir hören dich, aber es ist es wert, nochmals darauf hinzuweisen, dass die Standardversion von Discourse, die wir ausliefern (tests-passed), die am besten getestete und kompatibelste ist. Dies ist ein weiteres Beispiel dafür, wie Leute sich Mühe geben und zur “stabilen” Version wechseln und dabei auf einige Fehler stoßen, die durchs Raster fallen, weil es nicht die am häufigsten eingesetzte Version ist.

@tgxworld wir müssen das Sass-Gem in Stable aktualisieren, um dies zu beheben, soweit ich weiß.

Ich schätze das Feedback wie immer.

Ich wollte nur sicherstellen, dass ich klar gemacht habe, dass ich nicht die nicht unterstützte Entwickler-Version, sondern eine Referenz-Version in Docker verwende, damit ich darauf zurückgreifen kann, wenn wir Probleme mit unserem selbst unterstützten Deployment haben (unser Infrastrukturteam bevorzugt es, alles selbst zu verpacken). Wir führen die Betas nicht in unserem selbst unterstützten Build aus und liegen daher manchmal hinter der neuesten stabilen Version zurück.

In diesem speziellen Fall hatten wir das Ruby-Problem behoben, da unser Produktions-Deployment selbst unterstützt wird, aber ich war mir nicht sicher, wie ich das Problem im Docker-Image selbst beheben kann, ohne das Image selbst neu zu erstellen.
