Erro de versão do Google-protobuf ao atualizar para 3.2.2 de 3.2.1

Continuando a discussão de Mudança crítica para pessoas em versões estáveis (v3.2.1 e anteriores) com discourse_docker:

Tenho tentado atualizar de 3.2.1 para 3.2.2 e me deparei com isso - tentei reverter para 3.2.1, mas ainda recebo o erro observado aqui ao executar ./launcher rebuild app.

O que preciso fazer para que minha instância volte a funcionar? Prefiro a versão 3.2.2 (estou espelhando a versão que temos em uma instância autossustentada não dockerizada para fins de teste), mas ficaria feliz em voltar para 3.2.1 como alternativa.

Na thread referenciada, há uma nota de que a alteração que quebra a compatibilidade foi revertida [1], mas não consigo descobrir como corrigir minha instância.

Apenas para esclarecer, a versão do problema é uma instalação Dockerizada. Não estou pedindo ajuda com uma instalação autossuportada.

Para recapitular, você estava em uma versão padrão stable do 3.2.1 e executou um /launcher rebuild app para atualizar para o 3.2.2, mas encontrou um erro de reconstrução (especificamente o do tópico Bug vinculado).

Correct. I then tried reverting to 3.2.1 by just changing the version: value from v3.2.2 back to v3.2.1 in the yml file.

If I run ./launcher start app, that gets the old v3.2.1 container running again. I hadn’t thought to do that to get it running again (since it’s a non-production instance, not a huge issue to not have it running).

I would like to get it to 3.2.2, though, but not sure how to proceed.

Nós ouvimos você, mas vale a pena ressaltar, mais uma vez, que a versão padrão do Discourse que enviamos (tests-passed) é a mais testada e compatível. Este é mais um exemplo de pessoas se esforçando e mudando para a versão “estável”, encontrando alguns bugs que passam despercebidos porque não é a versão mais popular implantada.

@tgxworld precisamos atualizar o gem sass no stable para resolver isso, AFAIK

Agradeço o feedback, como sempre.

Eu só queria ter certeza de que fui claro ao dizer que não estava executando a build de estilo de desenvolvedor não suportada, mas sim uma build de referência no Docker que uso para que, se tivermos problemas com nossa implantação autossuportada (nossa equipe de infraestrutura prefere empacotar tudo sozinha), eu possa voltar à referência. Não executamos as versões beta em nossa build autossuportada e, como resultado, às vezes ficamos atrás da versão estável mais recente.

Neste caso específico, como nossa implantação de produção é autossuportada, na verdade corrigimos o problema do ruby, mas eu não tinha certeza de como corrigir o problema na própria imagem do docker sem reconstruir a imagem eu mesmo.

Apenas para finalizar - migramos para a versão 3.3.0 e este problema agora é irrelevante para nós.
