In the past I posted about how important a project for hobby to me
I use this cms since 2020 when I became a member at comunidade.tecnoblog.net and that days was a good sandbox to understand all functions as a member and today I’ve my own instance installed 1 month and 2 days and my review about it is a good lesson and experience that I will take with me on my professional life, Long live Discourse!
This year re-reading this topic and my pref about discourse it’s not about being the best obvious it is the best to me and I’ll always remember the importance
If I’ve learned anything about community in the last 10 years working at Discourse, it is that all lasting community comes from a place of shared leadership, not merely by the people at the top, but including everyone who regularly participates. Everyone deserves a voice, and to be heard.
This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://blog.discourse.org/2023/01/sam-saffron-and-sarah-hawk-named-discourse-co-ceos/
To build a community is about connections and lead the way to others leaders emerge and I finished my first happy year proud what the community that I helped to build became
Thank you @codinghorror @hawk @sam I just watched your interview and rest all people around the world for this tiny idea that changed lives and keep going helping the keep internet alive.
Numbers are impact this numbers says something how much a project grow up and helped peoples in your mission
Segredin did 764,429 pageviews this year, 70K posts 9K topics all time, 1200 members with 250 actives
