AJUDA: Atualização do Discourse quebrou o app -- falha na reconstrução

Quando tentei atualizar para a versão mais recente hoje, encontrei o seguinte erro:

fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/discourse/discourse.git/': Could not resolve host: github.com

Estou executando o aplicativo em um DigitalOcean Droplet com Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-52-generic x86_64).

Não estou familiarizado com Docker ou programação do lado do servidor. Agradeceria muito sua ajuda!

I restored a backup of our droplet and try rebuilding the app again. I was returned with the error:

bootstrap failed with exit code 1

This old image runs on Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-52-generic x86_64).

Concordo, definitivamente vale a pena tentar uma reinstalação completa a partir de um backup. Você precisa urgentemente atualizar esse servidor para pelo menos 22.04LTS, ele está significativamente desatualizado e executando um kernel 2 versões principais atrás do atual. É provável que tenha inúmeras incompatibilidades com versões mais recentes do Docker, Redis, possivelmente até Postgres, além de provavelmente ter vulnerabilidades de segurança conhecidas.

Um novo Droplet seria a maneira ideal, isso claro mudará seu endereço IP, então você precisaria ser capaz de fazer alterações nas configurações de DNS para conectar isso ao seu nome de domínio.

Se você não tiver backups externos na AWS S3, eles estarão em seu droplet existente no diretório /var/discourse/shared/standalone/backups/default. O SFTP pode ser usado para transferir o backup do seu servidor para o novo.
