Love the fediverse integration but it’s heavy for older users, I need to tone it down and make it look better

To test the water I selected just a few people to follow, it flooded my forum, I reduced to one for now

To begin to calm the effect can someone please explain how I can change the default forum navigation to no tags?

I searched my admin and here and its eluded me, I feel it will help for now.

Secondly, appearance

Users with emoji’s in their name, as highlighted yellow above, unattractive, can I do anything to make these propagate properly?

Appearance issue two

Youtube videos (actually most content) do not one box, and I can not edit these staged users posts to try to correct, can I do anything as admin to make these post more aesthetically pleasing?

as a new user account I can not post two separate images here either which is why both are merged as one

Are there admin permission settings I am missing to correct how these propagate?

I can only answer this question: but you should find a setting to enable tags, which will make the tag dropdown disappear.

If you still want to use tags, but just not in the navigation, you can add some custom css to hide the dropdown:

.select-kit.combo-box.tag-drop { display: none }; //scope to mobile

Thanks for your effort and kindness.

After looking though other activitypub threads it seems it’s a mess, I’d suggest a wiki post to catalogue issues but this isn’t that and I don’t expect any other answers to those issues.
