How can I enable: Auto-hyperlinking text to reference to other posts?

So I just noticed in meta.discourse.com that when I typed safe mode in plain text, it automatically creates a hyperlink like this: safe mode

  • Notice how in the editor I did not use markdown to make the word safe mode hyperlinked.

What is this feature called? How can I enable it on my forum?

You can use watched word to change a term into a link

@moin is correct, we use Watched Words to linkify eg safe mode, data explorer, standard install, etc, though the Auto-Linkify Words theme component has extra functionality if you need it. :+1:

Both solutions are exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much.

I chose the vanilla option by @Moin to reduce adding to many plugins.
