How do I get the forum here in German

Preferences > Interface > Interface Language > Select German

People are speaking in English. You’re only changing the langage of the forum (the “software”), not of what’s said. There are translation plugins, but none installed here on meta, I believe. If you don’t understand, you’ll have to copy/paste in a translator, for example Google translate.

The titles and posts will not change. The language feature only allows you to translate the community tools, not every single thing.

It’s a shame that doesn’t work, but it’s good to know; then I’ll create categories for German and English in our forum.
