if I export all my own posts from rapamycin.news forums, it only shows my forum posts a text, but not the images embedded in the thread of the text.

If you look at How to allow downloading images along with other user data (csv) from activity section?, there is a new cooked column in the user_activity.csv folder. It contains the HTML of your posts, where images are in <img> tags.
But it seems that this forum is running 2.9.0.beta9. That’s very old (about 4 years). It was released in July 2022, but this feature looks like it was added in November 2022. You’ll probably need to ask the admins to update the site.
