Hi Guys

I have just setup a new discourse and I have set the admin email address as i need it but and I am using Mailjet for SMTP.

The domain name I use for my server does not have any email addresses attached to it so i was wondering how i could change the noreply@domainname address via command line before I access the site for the first time to set up and get going.

Mailjet is sending an activation email to an address that does not exist so this is why I want to change it

Any help would be much appreciated

Edit your app.yml and look at the commented out line at the bottom that says something about notification_email.

Hmm. Maybe ./discourse-setup should print a warning and instructions for changing that.

Might be useful
I got caught as I am using a dynamic IP address with NO-IP service
So the “domain name” is purely for getting some of my team to the discourse install for testing from remote locations
