How to deploy discourse on sub path of a Wordpress site?

Hey, I want to setup discourse forums but don’t want to have it on a subdomain, this is because of SEO purposes so forums rankings are dependent on main domain and vice-versa.

I looked into wordpress plugin for discourse but not sure if that is only for comments on blogs or it will help in creating forum as well.

Otherwise, how can I open discourse forum on same wordpress site domain but in a sub path while deploying discourse on a separate vps.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful, thank you so much!

Hi, hritik! The Wordpress plugin is about integration, and isn’t related to initially setting up Discourse.

The setup you describe requires some advanced knowledge. You’ll want to see:

Serve Discourse from a subfolder (path prefix) instead of a subdomain
